7 Reasons to Donate to Arts For All:
1. Arts education budgets are consistently being slashed, so organizations like Arts For All serve a vital purpose to bring arts education back into schools.
2. Arts For All reaches approximately 5,000 kids in New York City each year with targeted arts programs that are in line with state learning standards.
3. An average of 70% of the support Arts For All receives goes directly into programs.
4. Our organizational and school partners rely on Arts For All’s programs to engage their students.
5. With our Literacy Through the Arts Program, we are teaching literacy through song, music, choral speaking, dance, puppets and theatre in Grades K-2.
6. “Involvement in the arts also helps students find their unique voice and creates a safe space for them to experiment and try new things that they may never have attempted before. This, in turn, creates community, both inside and outside the school. In fact, the arts are the connective tissue between school and all facets of life.” – David C. Banks, New York City Schools Chancellor, 2021-22 Annual Arts In Schools Report
7. Because Arts For All inspires learning like this: ““I love the dance moves you have taught me. You are talented with grace and heart in your story of wonder. I thank you for all you have done in my life.“- AFA student, Kayla, Grade 4
“Without your contribution, I would not have seen this production. I would not have the opportunity to increase my knowledge of the overall theatre process and would not push myself as an actress. I now want to take up musical theatre, because I am now dedicated to take major risks and grow from the challenge.” – Courtney, 7th Grade Student
