This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains our approach to any Personal Information (as defined below) that we collect from you or which we have obtained about you from a third party and the purposes for which we process your Personal Information. It also sets out your rights in respect to our processing of your Personal Information that we collect through the following website https://www.arts-for-all.org/ (“our Website”); our social media activities on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Linktree, and YouTube (“our Official Social Media Accounts”); and our other activities and sources, including providing accessible art opportunities to New York City youth (collectively, “Arts For All Services”).
This Privacy Policy does not apply to Personal Information arising from Arts For All’s employment-related activities, which is covered by a separate internal Employee Privacy Statement.
Who We Are
Arts For All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socio-economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts. Through Arts For All, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.

“Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household.
Information that We Collect From and About You
We collect Personal Information through your use of Arts For All Services, for example, when you register an account to access our Services, register your products, interact with our employees, sign up for marketing communications, make inquiries about our art programs, participate in an event, purchase items from our store, make a donation, or communicate with us.
Depending on how you use our Services, we collect different types of Personal Information from you:
Information that We Collect Directly
Arts For All may obtain the following Personal Information directly from you (1) through interactive forms on our Website, if you choose to provide it, (2) through your registration for, or attendance at, one of our events, (3) through your conversations with someone from Arts For All, (4) through your use of and access to our newsletters, emails, and Official Social Media Accounts, and (5) through other public sources:
- Contact Information: such as your name, email address, phone number, address, and country of residence;
- Demographic Information: such as race, sex, gender, first and second language, family income information;
- Event Attendee Information: information you provide to use for the purpose of attending events;
- Student Created Artwork: such as the art projects that were created by students in connection with the provision of Arts For All Services’
- Student Photos: such as photos taken at Arts For All events, subject to participants signing a photo release;
- Other Information: information relevant to the provision of the Arts For All Services.
Information that You Choose to Share via the Arts For All Services
By using the Arts For All Services, you may elect to disclose Personal Information:
- On message boards, public chat rooms, profile pages, blogs, research panels and communities, surveys, product review pages, and other services to which you are able to post information and content (including, without limitation, our Social Media Accounts). Please note that any information you post or disclose through these services will become public and may be available to other users and the general public; or
- When you connect to our Official Social Media Accounts with your social media account, you may share information with your friends associated with your social media account, with other users, and with your social media account provider. By doing so, you authorize us to facilitate this sharing of information, and you understand that the use of shared information will be governed by the social media provider’s privacy policy. We have no control over the information that social media websites or social media plugins collect, store, or use. - Fulfillment of Services: We collect and maintain Personal Information that you voluntarily submit to us during your use of the Arts For All Services to enable us to perform the Arts For All Services, including administering, operating, maintaining, and securing our Website, newsletters, emails, and Official Social Media Accounts as required by Arts For All’s business needs, legal obligations, and contractual obligations. Children’s Privacy
We only collect information from students under 18 years of age who participate in an Arts For All program with the express consent of the students’ parent or legal guardian. If you believe that we have collected information from anyone under the age of 18 without the consent of their parent or legal guardian, please contact us as shown below and we will endeavor to return or delete any such information.

Occasionally we provide links to other websites, social media platforms, or blogs for your convenience and information. Except to the extent that those websites, social media platforms, or blogs provide services with the authorization of and on behalf of Arts For All, they operate independently from Arts For All and are not under our control. These websites, social media platforms, and blogs have their own privacy notices and cookie policies in place, which we strongly suggest that you review if you visit any third-party links. Additionally, the information in a third party privacy notice or cookie policy may change from time to time. Except to the limited extent that the third parties provide services to us or otherwise act on our behalf, we are not responsible for their content, any products or services they may offer, or any other uses that are not related to Arts For All Services.

Data Retention
Your Personal Information is only processed for as long as needed to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy (considering contextual elements, such as the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide you our Services), or up until such time where you withdraw your consent for processing them. Application submissions, uploaded images and/or files through Contact Forms will be purged from the public-facing website within 1-year, however we may retain copies of this information within our internal document management system for our records, or as otherwise required by law. Arts For All may retain this information indefinitely for administrative, contact, or other necessary purposes.
Please note that if you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, our third-party vendor who manages Arts for All marketing communications will keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing communications in the future.
